New feature on the Enefit self-service portal: the option to authorize a relative

The Enefit self-service portal has become even more convenient and has been supplemented with a new feature — now you can grant or receive authorization to handle matters related to your electricity contract on behalf of a relative or other person. This feature is particularly useful if you live in different cities or even countries — everything is done remotely, securely and conveniently.

How does it work?

If your loved ones — for example, your parents or grandparents — need help with electricity matters, they can grant you power of attorney through their profile on the Enefit self-service portal. The person who is granted power of attorney does not need to be an Enefit customer – they just need to log in to the Enefit self-service portal.

To receive or grant a power of attorney, go to the Enefit self-service portal and log in with Smart-ID, Internetbank or E-signature. In the "Settings" section, select "Authorizations." Here you can both grant authorizations and view the authorizations granted to you.

What are the functions of the power of attorney?

With the power of attorney, you can:

  • Pay bills;
  • Track consumption data;
  • Read the terms and conditions of the contract and prices;
  • Submit electricity meter readings if they are not read and submitted automatically by the electricity meter.

Granting or issuing authorizations is free of charge, and you can also change the term of the authorization in the self-service portal.
